Arrived safely, but with one missing bag (which seems to still be in London). They promised they will deliver it tomorrow. I will probably ritually burn that bag (it’s the second time I travel with it to the US, and the second time it gets lost).
Staying at the Residence Inn for the next 2 days. Looks very clean and nice, and includes WiFi with no (apparent) strings attached. Quite a difference from the zillion (non-free) networks in Heathrow.
Nice to hear about you from California!
I agree with you about the London internet things, which are expensive and do not work well maybe because of the before mentioned reason.
I am also happy you got your bag back. YOu know what I think, this is the second time, aahm, maybe it looks just a bit of having terrorist stuff inside, that’s why they were so frustrated to check it and not finding anything and kept it for further controls until they finally got bored.
At that Robbins seminar we were not allowed to go with cameras inside the hall, they actually checked our bags, but did not notice that I had a pretty big camera under my shall and my husband the bigest one under his arm. Nice, isn’t it? And at the airport controll they took away our scissors from the bag and did not notice that we had a knife in the rucksack.
So let’s celebrate the terrorism because they wouldn’t notice it anyway.
Have a nice time!

I’d just like to point out that my sister is neither a copyright infringer, nor a plane-hijacking terrorist.
And she has no affiliation with google whatsoever :)) Her opinions are her’s alone… etc. etc. etc.
Petru, you sound like an EULA already! :))
