Day 27: Using real headers. This was actually exactly what I needed to clean up the remaining CSS mess. Using the header tags made everything look nicer and now it even makes some sense on text-based browsers. Day 25: Using real horizontal rules or faking them properly: I didn’t use horizontal rules until now, but it sounds like a good way to separate the days. I won’t be using images to replace them, anyway. Interesting page about Tetris history, focusing on the infringement lawsuits. It’s my name day today (St. Peter in the Orthodox calendar). Don’t expect any further posts for a day or two — I’ll be on the road. I’m not dead (yet), but I didn’t have any time to post news lately… stay tuned :) We should all love spam. Written by a direct marketer, obviously, but still makes one wonder what was he smoking while he thought of that. I just noticed the new stylesheets on the Movable Type site, and I like the “Plain Jane” better than the one I’ve been using until now. I’m still not happy with it, though: some of the text is hard to read, and the links aren’t blue. Wandering through Wien — nothing quite like having to talk to people in a language you don’t quite know :) Fortunately enough, many people also speak English in here. I moved over the resume from the old site, and linked it on the right side. I’ll try to move a bunch of the other stuff as well tonight, but this reminds me than most of the pages (and especially the resume) badly need updating and reworking — more work :( I just upgraded the site to Movable Type 2.11, which should bring all the features of 2.1 and a couple small bugfixes from 2.11. |
