Feedburner migration

I’ve switched the RSS feed to Feedburner (mostly so I can play with the admin interface). Depending on which software you use to subscribe, this might cause a bunch of old items to show up as unread – my apologies for that.

Seriously, you should know by now that my blog tends to lapse for months at a time. Anyway, I’ve recently been under a constant flood of spam comments – I’ve now installed the (very cool) reCAPTCHA plugin. So, go ahead and comment, you’ll be helping to digitize books :)

Comment spam

Looks like I’ve been hit pretty heavily by comment spammers, while I wasn’t paying attention. I just had to delete about 200 spam comments (some were caught by Wordpress, some weren’t). The result is that posting comments will be a little more annoying now (and will require my approval) — until I find another solution [...]

Hello world!

Welcome to my new blog. I’ve had blogs from time to time before, but they all died because of boredom and lack of content.
The main reason for starting a new one is moving to Dublin to work for Google. I’ll be providing info about that here, instead of spamming the interested people with emails .
